i have been in the pet trade for many years.my last position was as a agent/distributor selling pet products and accessories from a van. so what i sold wasnt main stream but special and handmade products.I may have been one of the first to sell custom made dog/cat collars and leads made by a company from Devon by name of woofstock.They used faux materials ,swarovski crystals and metal studs of varying designs. i had to give this up due to some ill health and disability. I have now embarked on producing Pet Portraits, this is still at a development stage but hoping to expand this year.I have some ideas not yet made.

Hi, I have noticed when buying a collar for our small dog there are a lot of collars that have no loop to attach a lead to why do manufactures leave this off the collars. as it doesn’t make sense to us

There is also company called Over the Top which makes car boot and car seat covers ( oh and dog beds) . They are based in Hinckley Leicestershire. Their products are top quality and something different then collars and coats. But still very useful for dog owners. Worth mentioning I think ?

Dr. Zigs’ giant bubbles are my Cavapoochon dog’s favourites. She can spend hours playing with these bubbles. Dogtella’s accessories are also a wonderful addition in the list.
I can highly recommend Chow Bella who make handmade dog bowls, especially their bowls for spaniels! They are brilliant for keeping long ears out of food and water and the customer service is amazing, too!
